Atlanta Thrashers launch 3D Ticket Plan Calculator

Londo0n, Ontario - We are pleased to introduce the Atlanta Thrashers Ticket Plan Calculator, developed by Cyberteks Design in partnership with the Atlanta Thrashers NHL Hockey club.


This innovative program allows potential season ticket holders to request their ticket plans online. Built with Macromedia Flash, Advanced Action Scripting and the latest 3D software, this program utilizes cutting edge techniques that allow users to browse a 3D map of the Philips Arena. Over 100 seating sections have been individually rendered and color coded base on pricing to insure the utmost accuracy. Even the ice surface and nets have been included to complete Philips Arena experience. The 3D arena map is fully interactive, allowing the user to toggle the upper bowl so they can get the best view possible. All the user has to do is move the cursor over the seats and pricing/availability for that section is instantly displayed, no delays. The seating availability and pricing are loaded ahead of time from the Atlanta Thrashers database, ensuring the information is up to date.

Users can compare seating sections based on plan prices, box office prices, monthly payments, savings and much more. Ticket plans can also be sorted based on all of these criteria allowing the user to find the optimum plan to meet their needs. The program features an option to print the comparison chart as well as email the link to anyone they feel may be interested in the product. Once the user has decided on a plan they need only to choose the number of tickets and fill out a simple form and their request is completed, with the option of a printable receipt. The user will then receive an automated email detailing their request and are contacted shortly by the Atlanta Thrashers Ticket Department staff to finalize the sale. Since the staff already has the user's address and credit card information from the form, completing the sale is quick and easy.

The entire process, from the loading of the arena map to the confirmation email, is protected by 128-bit encryption to protect the user's personal information.

Atlanta Thrasher's staff can also adjust the pricing and availability of each individual section through a secured administration menu. This ingenious program gives Atlanta Thrashers fans an engaging, interactive means of planning their season ticket purchases.

In February 2001 Keith was a member of the Team Canada Trade Mission and he had the opportunity to meet the Prime Ministers of Canada and China. He was also a VIP guest at the home opener of the London Knights this year at the brand new John Labatt Centre along with Darryl Sittler, the Mayor of London Anne Marie DeCicco and the Commissioner of OHL David Branch.

Keith is one very busy 16-year-old, designing web sites for large customers from all over North America, including Interep, the largest Radio Advertising Agency in the United States; Atlanta Thrashers NHL Hockey Club, Ontario Minor Hockey Association, London Knights OHL Hockey Club (Finalist for Best Design in the International Digital Media Festival in 2002), TPS Louisville Hockey, Vaughn Custom Sports, Rogers Television, Vanden Bussche Irrigation, London District Catholic School Board and an active hockey schedule. Keith has managed to maintain a 93% average in Grade 10 at John Paul II Catholic School in London.
